Joseph A. Conway Sr. of Southold died on May 5, 2023. He was 84 years old.
Joe was a former chief of department for Southold Town Police and ex-chief of the Southold Fire Department.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 8, 2023, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 9, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church in Southold, officiated by Father John Barrett. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s R.C. Cemetery with U.S. Navy honors.
